We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

The website does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or behavioral advertising. If we introduce analytics, cookies, or similar technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any notices or choices required by law.

Public property records

Quoin’s products may aggregate publicly available property, tax, assessment, parcel, ownership, transaction, or related records from government sources. Those records are collected from public sources rather than directly from the individuals identified in them. This website’s marketing pages do not require you to submit information about a property or another person.

• respond to inquiries and access requests;
• provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website;
• understand website usage and improve our products;
• prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may still send non-promotional messages necessary to respond to a request or operate the service.

6. Public-record information and removal requests

Public-record information may identify property owners or other individuals. If your information appears in a Quoin product and you believe it is inaccurate, outdated, or should be suppressed, contact us at kavins@quoindata.com with enough information for us to identify the record. We will review the request and, where appropriate and legally permitted, correct, suppress, or remove the record. We may need to retain limited information about a request to document and administer it.

Because the underlying records come from government sources, changes to a Quoin product may not change the underlying government record. You may also wish to contact the relevant government agency.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about the personal information we process about you. To submit a request, email kavins@quoindata.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our processing, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about the categories of personal information we collect and disclose. You may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights. Quoin does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process required by applicable law.

8. Children

The website is intended for a professional, general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
